Our MLA, Danielle Smith is largely absent from our Brooks-Medicine Hat riding. This is not her home, and it's made abundantly clear how little our communities matter to her when constituents, local groups, and businesses cannot secure meetings or receive timely responses from her about the issues that impact us in our region. Her lack of presence means our needs are not being voiced or represented in the Alberta Legislature.

Unethical Conduct

Danielle Smith was formally found to have breached Alberta’s Conflict of Interest Act for involving herself in a criminal case. She is consistently tied to major ethics scandals, including the failed Tylenol procurement and questionable healthcare contracting. Together, these investigations demonstrate an ongoing disregard for due process, misuse of public funds, and disrespect for Albertans.

Danielle Smith’s policies have weakened our public healthcare and education systems. Restructuring and increased funding for private providers contribute to a more fragmented system, accelerating privatization and making access to quality services more difficult. Under her leadership, our community has experienced the erosion of essential public systems we rely on.
